My Little Box – June ’17 Box Review – Los Angeles Box

Hey sasspots.

For those of you that have not heard of My Little Box, it’s a Lifestyle subscription box full of random items but sticking to a theme each month. The vibe is very Parisian and sophisticat.

I stumbled upon this company whilst I was subscribed to other boxes. I was kinda getting sick of receiving sample size make-up products that just left me feeling meh.

With My Little Box, you’ll receive lifestyle items suiting that month’s theme, whilst also receiving a few choice items from their own My Little Beauty range. These are full size products and I have used them all.

I like the fact that you’ll receive a mixture of things. It won’t all be make-up, or stationery, or creams. It’ll be a complete mixture. I guess I’m just a sucker for receiving random pretty things in the post. The boxes themselves are something to squeal over. MLB have an artist that decorates every box and this adds to the Parasion vibe.

This month’s theme was Los Angeles. A very summery theme full of bright colours to embrace the warmer days.

In this month’s box we received:

  • Palmers Coconut Oil Body Lotion
  • Take Me Away tote bag
  • LA style stickers
  • Burts Bees Deep Cleansing Cream
  • Bead bracelet
  • My Little Beauty Coco Sunrise Oil

My favourites from this month are the bag and the bracelet. When I first looked at the bracelet, I thought it was a bit bright and techno for me. But I’m a lover for tassels and have worn it 3 times in about a week.

The bag is just great for shopping. You can wear on your shoulder without the bag smacking against your hips. Plus it’s pretty and bright and I’m loving the green leaf vibe.

I haven’t tried the beauty products yet. To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed. I know it is all aimed at the summer month’s needs for creams to look after the skin after sun exposure. But this is not something that excites me. In previous boxes we’ve received make-up alongside creams and this is the sort of things that makes me rush to try it out. I received a cheek tint last year that I have used to death and wish they would include more stuff like this.

Though once I try out the products from this month’s box, I’m sure I’ll like them. I’m just not rushing to try them out.

Overall I am loving the theme though. The box is always packaged so beautifully and to see the pink and green theme was a definite perk me up feel to my otherwise dull work day.
